The Countdown is On!

It's The Final Countdown

We are back from April vacation and while it did not feel like April, more like January with the snow sleet and rain, it seems like everyone is refreshed and ready to take on the last two months of school!

 Local Authors Visit

We were so fortunate to have local authors Jennifer McMahon and Francisco Stork speak to Ms. Napier-Bernstein's Creative Writing Class. They discussed the writing process and what goes into creating stories. The class had great questions and both were a delight! Thank you to Ms. Carrick for always finding authors to come speak as part of our visiting author series!

Happy Vacation!

April vacation is upon us and even though it has felt more like the lead up to February vacation, we are in the full swing of spring! We hope everyone has a happy and healthy vacation!!!

Early Child Growth Toy Fair!

Ms. Pandolfo's Early Child Growth class is running a toy fair for preschool. The high school students have made interactive educational toys using every day objects. The class set up a "fair" in the library so the preschoolers can enjoy! The creativity was at a high by the high school students and the preschoolers all had huge smiles on their faces as they enjoyed the fair!!

NHS News!

Ms. Williams has created a Natick in the News board. We have so many amazing students and staff in our community doing fantastic things and we wanted to celebrate them! Students love seeing themselves recognized for their achievements and it has become one of the most popular spots in the library!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SASSY!!!!!

We are having a pre-birthday celebration for Sassy! Her birthday is April 18th and she will be one year old! It is hard to imagine the school and library without her! She has come a long way from the little eight week old ball of fluff to a lively spirited loving little girl! She has brought so much love and happiness to everyone!

Spring is "Almost" in the Air

While it may say April on the calendar, Mother Nature has other ideas! Between snow storms, fierce winds and frigid temps, it is difficult to imagine it will ever be warm! We are trying to stay positive in the library and hope that soon spring in New England will be around the corner!!

Global Awareness takes on World War II

Global Awareness classes are working on a project focusing on the lesser known stories of WWII. Through academic research using books and databases students will create an informational textbook chapter on their chosen topic.

Joy of Reading

It may be cold outside but Ms. Morrissey's preschoolers brought sunshine and joy into the library during story time! After our read aloud, the littles wanted to stay longer and do some reading "on their own." It is so nice to see the love of reading coming through in our preschoolers!
