"What are you doing for others?" -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy." -MLK Jr.

As we head into the long weekend, let's remember the purpose of Monday. We celebrate Martin Luther King Jr's life and legacy and all he stood for. He embodied the spirit of loyalty, compassion, truth, justice and service. Monday should not be a day off but a day ON. Whether it be a small gesture or a large project, do something to give back. Be part of the solution and make a difference!

"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." -MLK Jr.

 What's in a Name?

There is a mystery in the library! As part of our preschool story time and curriculum, we have been connecting many of our stories with nature. We have created a 3D tree in the library and change the theme for each season. For the winter, we add a different "winter animal" each week. The preschoolers love coming in to see what animal has been added and where they end up on the tree! It looks like the high school students are loving it as well because all of our animals now have names! Someone has been naming the animals each week! We are all getting a kick out of it and look forward to see what name pops up next!
