Research Writing Underway
The first week to the new semester and the library is bursting with activity. English classes are tackling their research writing component and we are beginning to to see all English classes to teach the research process! This is one of the busiest times of the year in the library as every English class will take part in some aspect of research writing!
Inuksuk Rock People
We are so fortunate to have on display "Rock People" from Ms. Price's preschool class! The class has explored the Arctic and Antarctic, and the people and animals that live there. To celebrate the culture the class made Inuksuks. Inuksuk is a stone structure found in the Arctic. Stones are piled one on top of the other. They are used by Inuit travelers to mark their way, point out hunting or fishing spots or indicate where food is stored. Many of the structures resemble people! The word Inuksuk means "likeness of a person" It is amazing to see these structures made by our youngest members of our community! Come check them out!
Celebrating NHS History
Students love looking at the old yearbooks in the library! Currently we have on display yearbooks representing the inductees for the Natick High School Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2017. They have been a big hit with our student athletes!
