Blog Book of the Week
Vanishing Girls / Lauren OliverI read this book in about three days. It is a fantastic read and reminded me a lot of We Were Liars. Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite Young Adult authors and her latest did not disappoint. The story has many twists and turns and keeps you on your toes right to the end. I actually did not see the end coming and I pried myself on usually being able to figure plot twists out! I felt invested in the characters and could feel the emotion coming off the pages. I would highly recommend this story and think it would make the perfect beach read!!!

When Dara vanishes on her birthday, Nick thinks Dara is just playing around. But another girl, Madeline Snow, has vanished, too. Nick becomes increasingly convinced that the two disappearances are linked-- and she has to find her sister, before it's too late.
